Flower Vase

The form of natural phenomena created by the workings of nature, along with the vast memory information generated by life—including plants, living creatures, and even the invisible microscopic forms of life—has been transformed into a three-dimensional vase. The surface is adorned with manganese glaze and platinum, showcasing a universal beauty.

Tea Ceremony

utakata37.jpg

I believe that the tea ceremony is a worldview that embodies all of the Japanese aesthetic sense. I would be delighted if my works could be used in a setting that allows customers to experience that worldview, and serve as an item that can spark conversation.

The world is made like flowing water.

IMG_1303.JPG

Water flows freely from high places to low places, undulating as it goes. In this, we see the natural state of things as they are, embodying their inherent characteristics. I created this piece with the hope that people, too, will express and live according to their passions and strengths, just as they naturally wish to.

Divine energy

There are various forms of energy in the universe. I have manifested that energy in the form of a deity statue.

The cycle of life, where life is born, eventually dies, and returns to the earth, has been repeated since ancient times. While the cycle of life and death repeats, the fundamental soul never perishes, even if its form changes. I expressed and materialized the energy that drives this cycle of life as a goddess statue that transcends time and space.

Many of the words that constantly stir, whisper, and shout within our bodies are thoughts. Among them, the softest and most delicate voice of my true self can sometimes be drowned out by these thoughts and strong shouts, causing me to be unaware of my own true feelings. However, it is this true voice that represents my original self as an individual, which I have expressed in three-dimensional works titled "Inner Voice" and "Vessel of the Self."

Inner Voice

A vessel in which food is served for a meal. In the world of Japanese cuisine, a vessel is referred to as the "kimono" of the dish. I crafted these vessels with the intention of enhancing the beauty of the food, thereby providing joy and inspiration to those who partake in the meal.

Flower

Since ancient times, many artists have used flowers as a metaphor for people and life, and I also wanted to create beautiful flowers. Looking down from the universe, people are very small, but each one is a unique life. I created a figure of a person blooming gracefully as a flower in this vast universe.

Parallel World

The world we recognize and experience is singular, but the moment we imagine having multiple choices, those imagined worlds exist independently as a multiverse. When I choose one of those imagined patterns, I live in that world. However, the other imagined patterns that were not chosen continue to exist as parallel worlds, forming separate realms. I have given shape to the infinitely forming parallel worlds. ● Since ancient times, many artists have used flowers as metaphors for people and life. I, too, wanted to create flowers that resemble beautiful people. I envisioned and shaped flowers that possess both vibrant beauty and dignified strength, reflecting the essence of such individuals.

Barrier

What protects the heart (inner self)? This question gave rise to the theme of "barriers." We live in a cruel world. The media is filled with tragic stories, and the world is in chaos, causing us anxiety. If we consider the human body as a box, regardless of race, age, or gender, what protects the inside of that box (the heart)? For some, the barrier that protects the heart might be pride, religion, or philosophy as the final line of defense. I believe that by rediscovering what supports our hearts, we can become stronger. I hope my work can help everyone reflect on their own "barriers."
